Rashid Saleh Al-Athba  Wins the First Quota Place for Qatar

Today at the World Championship Shotgun, which takes place in Osijek, Croatia, the world champions in two Olympic events, Skeet Men and Skeet Women, were determined. 8 athletes won Quota Places, 4 in each event. 2 Quotas were won by athletes from USA, 1 quota each Italy, Great Britain, Slovakia, Ukraine, Egypt, Qatar and Sweden.

In skeet final, Azmy Mehelba won the first place, which is the first World Championship Gold medal in the history of Egypt. The second place won by Olympic Champion Vincent Hancock from USA. The bronze medal went to Rashid Saleh AlAthba from Qatar, achieving the first quota place for Qatar that qualifies him for Olympic Games Paris 2024.
