ASC Vice President meets with 15th Asian Shooting Championship Organizing Committee

On behalf of the Asian Shooting Confederation (ASC) President H.E. Sheikh Salman AlSabah, the ASC Vice President H.E. Kiichiro Matsumaru held a meeting with the 15th Asian Shooting Championship Organizing Committee and Korea Shooting Federation to have the latest updates on the organizing procedures. The 15th Asian Shooting Championship is scheduled from 22 October 2023 to 2 November 2023 in Changwon, KOR and it is one of the most important continental championships in Asia since 24 Quota places will be distributed for Paris Olympic Games 2024.

Mr. Matsumaru have elaborated on the importance of making the full arrangements in terms of organization, transportation, technical assurance, media coverage and other arrangements to ensure outstanding preparations are in place for member federations and athletes. The ASC VP have stressed the importance of livestreaming the finals and live results in the Championship for the shooting community.

Finally, the ASC VP thanked the Organizing Committees and Korea Shooting Federation for their outstanding efforts in both the 15th Asian Airgun Championship and 15th Asian Shooting Championship.
