ASC Congratulates the New ISSF and President Mr. Luciano Rossi

On behalf of the Asian Shooting Confederations (ASC) Executive Committee, the ASC President, H.E. Sheikh Salman AlSabah, welcomes and congratulates H.E. Luciano Rossi for winning the ISSF Presidential election wishing him and the new ISSF body a great success and prosperity leading the shooting sport.

The ISSF General Assembly and election took place yesterday in Sharm El-Sheikh. Mr. Luciano won by 136 votes whereas the previous ISSF President H.E. Vladimir Lisin got only 127 votes. Both candidates were well qualified to lead the ISSF, but ISSF member federations made the final decision to choose the new ISSF President.

Moreover, the new ISSF President have made a decision to choose H.E. Willi Grill as the new ISSF Secretary General. Mr. Willi has been an effective leader serving the previous ISSF body for many years. The ASC Executive Members congratulates and wishes an effective cooperation with the new ISSF Secretary General to elevate the shooting sport.

Finally, the ASC President and Executive members sincerely thanks and appreciates the previous ISSF President, H.E. Vladimir Lisin, ISSF Secretary General, H.E. Alexander Ratner, and ISSF Executive Committees and Council members for their outstanding efforts leading the ISSF body in the past few years.
