Japan and Kazakhstan Achieves Medals in ISSF World Cup Rifle/ Pistol Jakarta, INA 2023

The ISSF World Cup  Rifle/Pistol started in Jakarta, Indonesia.

For the first time in the new year, athletes will also compete here for medals in the 25-meter and 50-meter events.  About 220 athletes came to Jakarta not only to fight for medals, but also to get rating points for the ISSF World Ranking 2023.

On behalf of the ASC President, Mr. Javaid Lodhi (ASC Vice President) have attended the opening ceremony as representative of ASC. Additionally, Mr. Kiichiro Matsumaru (ISSF Executive Member and ASC Vice President) was invited to the opening ceremony by Indonesian Shooting Association.

The first medals were awarded in 10m Air Rifle Men and 10m Air Rifle Women.

The Asians athletes were among the talent in beginning of the competition and made outstanding achievements. The Asian shooters made good achievement with a total of 2 medals. Japan won a gold medal in 10m rifle men by Naoya OKADA and Kazakhstan won a silver medal by KONSTANTIN MALINOVSKIY 10m Air rifle men.
