ASC Meeting With Medical & Anti-Doping Committee.

The Medical & Anti-Doping Committee of Asian Shooting Confederation (ASC) held a meeting via video conference on Saturday, 04-Feb-2023.

Attendees were as follows:

Mrs. Ameenah Esmaeel chairperson ASC medical & anti-doping committee from Kuwait , Dr. Neda Nozari member from Iran , Dr. Georges Sfeir member from Lebanon , Dr. Tsogtsaikhan Naranjargal member Mongolia , Mr. Rafic Shaar member from Syria, and Mr. Ahmad Nedhal AlSayed Omar ASC Manager.

ASC Manager Mr.Ahmed Nedal AlSayed Omar thanked all participant for allocating time for this meeting.

Additionally Mr. Ahmed Nedal started the meeting by invited Mrs.Ameenah (Chairperson of ASC Medical & Anti-Doping Committee), which she conveyed her gratitude to ASC President and ASC Secretary General for their trust in giving her the responsibility to Chair this important ASC Committee.

Mrs. Ameenah congratulated elected members of ISSF Medical Committee and she informed the attendees that purpose of today’s meeting was to discuss the importance of “Anti-Doping Education and Learning platform (ADEL). To continue in ADEL she gave the floor to Dr.Neda to elaborate on ADEL platform.

Moreover Dr. Neda proposed to provide active access via ASC website to educate ASC Shooting Family on various anti-doping topics. The we site can provide service for online Questions and Answers, ongoing formative assessments/ tests /feedback, online chat rooms, etc. for all levels of shooting knowledge.

Finally Mrs. Ameeenah thanked all attendees for their attendance, contribution to the Medical Committee and all staff members of ASC Headquarters for arranging this meeting.
