ISSF AND ASC MEETING IN ASC HEADQUARTER

A meeting with the ISSF was held in the Asian Shooting Confederation (ASC) headquarter headed by H.E. Sheikh Salman AlSabah (ASC President) and H.E. Luciano Rossi (ISSF President). The meeting was attended by H.E. Eng. Duaij AlOtaibi (ASC Secretary General), H.E. Willi Grill (ISSF Secretary General), Mrs. Rosanne Ramos (ISSF Technical Committee), Mr. Obaid AlOsaimi (ASC Chairman of Planning and Development Committee), Mr. Ahmad Nedal AlSayed Omar (ASC Manager), and Mr. Atif Naqash (ASC Administration).

The meeting was organized as a sideline of the Amir Grand Prix and Asian Shotgun Cup competitions. The primary purpose of the meeting is to reassure the support, cooperation, and development of shooting sport between both the ISSF and ASC. Several subjects were discussed such as investment in learning and educational programs, maintaining the media coverage of the shooting sport, focusing on the quality rather than quantity of ISSF World Cups, and overall support to the Asian Member Federations.

Both Presidents affirms the cooperation between ISSF and ASC and the great protentional that will be done during the upcoming period for the Asian member federations in the near future.
