11th Asian Youth Training Camp & Coaching Course 2023 Concludes with Spectacular Closing Ceremony

The 11th Asian Youth Training Camp & Coaching Course came to a grand finale at Mount Lavinia Beach Hotel in Colombo. The Closing Ceremony with a true spectacle of sportsmanship was graced by the esteemed presence of H.E. Shirantha Peiris, President of the National Shooting Sport Federation Sri Lanka (NSSF), and other distinguished guests.

The event was held under the patronage of the NSSF with the leadership of H.E. Shirantha Peiris, alongside Mr. Pradeep Edrisinghe, Secretary General of NSSF, Mr. Dalls, Chairman of the Technical Committee, Mr. Janaka, Vice President (Rifle), and Mr. Sujith Kumara, Assistant Secretary (Rifle). Their collective efforts ensured the success of this prestigious training camp.

During the ceremony, participants were honored and celebrated for their dedication and outstanding performances throughout the training camp. The Asian Shooting Confederation ASC certificates, NSSF trophies, and medals were presented to the deserving participants by the esteemed heads of the event..

In his address, President Shirantha Peiris extended his heartfelt gratitude to H.E. Salman AlSabah, (ASC President) and H.E. Eng. Duaij AlOtaibi (ASC Secretary General) for graciously accepting the invitation and attending the opening ceremony. He also expressed his deep appreciation to H.E. Pushpa Das Shresta, President of Nepal Shooting Association and Member of ASC Executive Committee for his presence and support.

President Peiris took a moment to acknowledge the unwavering support and assistance provided by ASC President AlSabah and ASC Secretary General AlOtaibi, emphasizing their instrumental role in making the training camp a resounding success. He lauded their tireless efforts in promoting and nurturing shooting sports in the Asian region.
