"ASC Executive Committee Focuses on Advancing Shooting Sports in Asia at 37th Executive Meeting"

The Asian Shooting Confederation (ASC) held its 37th Executive Committee meeting that took place on June 17, 2023 - 9:00 AM UTC. The meeting was conducted via video conference in ASC headquarters Kuwait.

The 37th Executive Committee meeting outcome was mainly to contribute and increase the growth and success of shooting sports in the continent.

Several important matters have been tabled in the 37th ExCo meeting, mainly preparations for ASC General Assembly Meeting, amendments to ASC General Regulations and Reports on Youth Training & Coaching Camps as well as forthcoming ASC organized competitions, including Asian Shooting Championships with quota distribution. The Executive Committee has approved the agenda of the General Assembly that will soon be uploaded and circulated to all member federations. Additionally the ExCo have also approved proposal to add an article to the constitution and several amendments to the General Regulations to align it with ISSF Rule Book. The ExCo members have discussed several reports submitted by the ExCo members and ASC headquarter, such as the reports on 11th and 12 Asian Youth Camps, ASC Supervised Competitions and latest information about Asian athletes performance.
