The second day of finals at the ISSF World Cup Junior in Suhl, Germany, witnessed intense competition and remarkable performances in two events. 10m Air Rifle Mixed Team Junior and 10m Air Pistol Mixed Team Junior. The top young shooting talents from around the world showcased their skills, with India and South Korea emerging as the standout teams.
The gold medal won by the team from India, comprising of Gautami Bhanot and Abhinav Shaw. Their exceptional skills and teamwork propelled them to the top of the leaderboard, solidifying their dominance in the event and the silver medal went to the team from France, whereas the bronze medal went to team from Norway from 10m Air Rifle Mixed Team Junior event.
Moreover In the 10m Air Pistol Mixed Team Junior event, the gold medal was achieved by the Republic of Korea's team, featuring Kim Juri and Kim Kanghyun. The Korean team displayed remarkable accuracy and composure throughout the event, earning them the top spot on the podium.
India was also well-represented in the 10m Air Pistol Mixed Team Junior event, with two teams securing noteworthy positions. Team India 1, composed of Sainyam Sainyam and Choudhary Abhinav, demonstrated their skill and determination, securing a commendable placement.
Team India 2, composed of Suruchi Inder Singh and Bisla Shubham, also showcased their talent and resilience in the competition, solidifying India's presence in the event.
Also in 10m Air Pistol mix team, finishing in fourth place was the team from Uzbekistan, featuring Saidkulova Nigina and Kamalov Mukhammad. Their performance demonstrated their ability to compete at an elite level, earning them recognition among their peers.
The Asian Shooting Confederation (ASC) congratulated all the participants in the tournament, recognizing their exceptional talent, unwavering dedication, and exemplary sportsmanship.
