Second Day of The Training Camp Focus on Technical Training and Shooting Skills

The Asian Youth Training Camp & Coaching Course 2023 commenced its second day in Colombo with an intensive focus on technical training and shooting skills. The morning session began with physical warm-up led by the camp instructor, preparing the young participants for the day's activities.

After the invigorating warm-up routine, the focus of the morning session shifted to the fundamental principles of rifle shooting biomechanics. Participants were introduced to the crucial elements of body alignment, posture, and stability necessary for achieving optimal shooting performance.

Following a well-deserved lunch break, the participants reconvened for an intensive afternoon session, which revolved around the construction of various shooting positions. The instructor meticulously addressed the significance of proper body positioning, angles, and head posture in establishing a stable shooting foundation.

Later in the day, the participants engaged in general free training, allowing them to continue their shooting skills while also making necessary adjustments to their weapons. The technical aspects of shooting were emphasized, with particular attention given to position construction, body posture, angles, head position, hand and arm position, leg and feet position, as well as trigger cleanliness and follow-through.
