Sri Lanka Shooting Federation Concludes the ASC Camp by hosting Wildlife Safari Event that all participants Enjoyed

The Sri Lanka National Shooting Sports Federation in collaboration with the Asian Shooting Confederation (ASC) recently conducted the 11th ASC Youth Training Camp and Training Course 2023. This was the first time that Sri Lanka had the privilege of organizing such an event that demonstrated the country's commitment to promote the shooting sport in Asia. The program received generous sponsorship from ASC and achieved remarkable success in this beautiful island.

Under the leadership of Mr. Shirantha Peries, Mr. Janaka, and Mr. Pradeep Edirisinghe, the President, Vice President and Secretary General of the National Shooting Sport Federation of Sri Lanka (NSSF), the event brought together aspiring young shooters from across Asia. The initiative of ASC to organize this shooting camp for Air Rifle is aimed to enhance athletes and coaches skills and provide valuable techniques for their growth in the Air Rifle shooting discipline.

Following an intensive Training Camp and Coaching Programme, the participants were rewarded with a well-deserved break as the NSSF took them for a wildlife event in Sri Lanka safari. They embarked on an exciting wildlife safari at the renowned Yala National Park, situated in the southern region of Sri Lanka. The participants had the rare opportunity to witness the diverse and magnificent wildlife found in the park, creating unforgettable memories for all involved.

The National Shooting Sport Federation of Sri Lanka expressed its deep gratitude to the Asian Shooting Confederation for their invaluable support in making the programme a resounding success. The dedication and contributions of various individuals were acknowledged, including Mr. Deepak Kumar Dubey, the Trainer of the Course, The officials of the National Shooting Federation of Sri Lanka, volunteers, and all the participants were also recognized for their significant contributions to the event.
