ISSF World Cup 2023 Opens in Rio de Janeiro with China wining Silver & Bronze medals in 10m Air Pistol Women's Event

The ISSF World Cup commenced yesterday in Rio de Janeiro, Brazil, The inauguration ceremony graced by the presence of H.E. Luciano Rossi, President of the ISSF, and H.E. Willi Grill, Secretary General of the ISSF. The event marks the beginning of an exciting competition that will test the skills and prowess of 310 athletes from 40 nations, who will collectively participate in 510 starts across various shooting disciplines.

On the 1st day of the competition was the 10m Air Pistol Women event, which showcased the precision and talent of these remarkable athletes.

The results of the event are as follows:

Gold Medal: Elmira KARAPETYAN (ARM)

Silver Medal: Siyu WANG (CHN)

Bronze Medal: Wei QIAN (CHN)
