Hangzhou, China - The esteemed 19th Asian Games 2022 played host to a spectacular Olympic shooting event, which took place from September 23 to October 1, 2023. The competition witnessed a total of 461 Olympic shooters from various Asian nations, all competing passionately for a coveted total of 102 prestigious medals - 33 Gold, 33 Silver, and 36 Bronze.
Prominent figures from the world of sports graced the event with their presence, including H.E. Luciano Rossi, President of the International Sport Shooting Federation (ISSF), and H.E. Willi Grill, the Secretary General of ISSF. Their attendance at this prestigious event was made possible through the gracious invitation extended by H.E. Sheikh Salman AlSabah, President of the Asian Shooting Confederation (ASC), and H.E. Eng. Duaij AlOtaibi, Secretary General of ASC.
Additionally, H.E. Lian Chung (ASC VP), H.E. Kiichiro Matsumaru (ASC VP), H.E. Meshaael AlNasr, ( ASC VP), HRH Prince Khalid AlSaud (ASC VP), H.E. Boutros Jalkh (ASC ExCo), H.E. Oleg Pochilova (ASC ExCo), H.E. Joni Supriyanto (ASC ExCo) were also in attendance, jointly witnessing the gripping competition.
