ASC President Meets with Asian Games Aichi Nagoya, Japan 2026 Top Officials to Discuss the Latest Preparations

H.E. Abdullah AlHammadi (ASC Chairman of T&J Committee), H.E. Furo Yasumasa (President of Japan Clay Association), H.E. Sheikh Salman AlSabah (ASC President), and H.E. Kiiciro Matsumaru (ASC VP and Coordinator for Asian Games 2026)

On sidelines of the 15th Asian Shooting Championship, Changwon Korea, the ASC President H.E. Sheikh Salman AlSabah met with H.E. Furo Yasumasa (President of Jaoan Clay Association) to discuss the lastest preparations of Asian Games Japan 2026. The meeting was joined by H.E. Kiiciro Matsumaru (ASC Vice President and ASC Coordinator for Asian Games 2026) and H.E. Abdullah AlHammadi (ASC Chairman of Technical and Judges Committee.

The purpose of the meeting is to make sure all necessary preparations are in line with ISSF and ASC General Regulations and standards to prevent technical issued early in the stage. A new proposal from Japan Clay Association was mentioned that shotgun ranges will include 3 combined ranges, 2 Trap range, and 1 Skeet range. The ASC approved this new proposal and will work hand-in-hand with the organizing committee in the future to provide technical assistance for the Asian Games Japan 2026 Organizing Committee.
