ASC President Sheikh Salman AlSabah Extends Congratulations for 24 Quota Places Awarded in Jakarta and Kuwait; After the Championships, Asian Athletes Secure a Total of 91 Quota Places on the Road to Paris Olympic Games 2024.

In a successful culmination of the Asian Rifle/Pistol Championship 2024 held in Jakarta, Indonesia, from January 5th to 18th, and the Asian Shotgun Championship 2024 in Kuwait, from January 12th to 22nd, a total of 24 quota places have been awarded to deserving athletes from across the continent for the upcoming Paris Olympic Games 2024.

The Asian Shooting Championships, A total of 16 quota places were secured in Jakarta, while another 8 were earned in Kuwait. After the conclusion of the Jakarta and Kuwait Championships in 2024, Asian athletes had successfully secured a total of 91 quota places for the Paris Olympic Games. However, the journey is not complete, as two crucial competitions remain for the Final Olympic Qualification Championship. In Rio, Brazil, 16 quota places will be distributed for the Rifle/Pistol, while in Doha, Qatar, 8 quota places will be allocated for the Shotgun discipline.
