Asian Athletes Secure 91 Slots, ASC Unveils Quota Places for Paris 2024 Olympics Following Jakarta and Kuwait Championships

In an exciting development for the Asian shooting community, the Asian Shooting Confederation (ASC) has recently uploaded the highly anticipated list of quota places for athletes from Asian federations aiming to compete in the Paris Olympic Games 2024. The announcement comes on the heels of the Asian Championships held in Jakarta and Kuwait.

At the Asian Shooting Championships in Jakarta, a total of 16 quota places were successfully secured in Rifle/Pistol events, underlining the exceptional performance of Asian athletes. This achievement was further complemented by the results of the Kuwait Championships, where an additional 8 quota places were earned in Shotgun events. The combined efforts of the athletes resulted in a significant total of 91 quota places for Asian competitors for the upcoming Paris Olympic Games.

While the success in Jakarta and Kuwait is commendable, the journey is far from over. The focus now shifts to the Final Olympic Qualification Championships in Rio, Brazil, and Doha, Qatar. In Rio, 16 quota places will be distributed for the Rifle/Pistol discipline, while Doha will host the allocation of 8 quota places for the Shotgun discipline.
