40th ASC Executive Committee Meeting Via Video Conference

The 40^th Meeting of the ASC Executive Committee was held today (Sat, 24-Aug-2024) via Video Conference, which was attended by all distinguished members of the ASC Executive Committee and Chairpersons of ASC Committees.

ASC President Sheikh Salman AlSabah opened the meeting by thanking ASC Honorary Presidents, Vice Presidents, Executive Committee Members and Chairpersons of Committees for their active role, dedication and contribution to the development of the Olympic Shooting Sport across Asia.

ASC President also conveyed his sincere gratitude to the ASC Secretary General for his continuous efforts to ensure smooth and successful functioning of the ASC Headquarters.

ASC Executive Committee greatly appreciated the performance of Asian athletes in the Paris Olympics 2024, particularly China, Korea, India, Kazakhstan and Chinese Taipei.

Apart from discussions on major ASC activities which took place in the last year, the ASC Executive Committee was briefed on the status of future competitions which will be organized in Asia. A few Amendments to ASC General Regulations and several proposals were discussed and approved by the Executive Committee.

The decisions of the Executive Committee will surely produce a positive impact to the growth and development of the Shooting Sport across Asia.
