The final day of the Asian Shotgun Cup 2024 in Almaty, Kazakhstan, delivered high-stakes action with multiple medal matches in the mixed team skeet event. The competition was intense, with top teams battling it out for the podium.
In the first bronze medal match, Japan's Shotaro Toguchi and Yuka Kojima overcame Kuwait in a tense shoot-off to claim the bronze. The second bronze medal match saw Bahrain's Tammar Alwatt and Latifa Alnajem edge past China to secure the second bronze for their country.
The gold medal match, however, was the highlight of the day, as Kazakhstan’s Eduard Yechshenko and Assem Orynbay delighted the home crowd by defeating Qatar’s Rashid Saleh Al-Athba and Reem Al-Sharshani, securing the gold medal for the host nation.
