The Asian Shooting Confederation (ASC) continues to strengthen ties with national sports bodies across Asia, as its President, H.E. Sheikh Salman AlSabah, and Secretary General, H.E. Eng. Duaij AlOtaibi, held a fruitful meeting with the Secretary General H.E. ATA Akmammedov and officials from the National Olympic Committee (NOC) of Turkmenistan. The meeting was also attended by the President and Secretary General of the Turkmenistan Shooting Federation, where the development of the Olympic shooting sport in Turkmenistan was the central topic of discussion.
The Secretary General NOC of Turkmenistan H.E. ATA Akmammedov expressed gratitude for the continuous support provided by the ASC and highlighted the positive impact of collaboration on their athletes’ performance. The Turkmenistan Shooting Federation reaffirmed its dedication to implementing ASC’s guidance to boost the shooting sport locally and explore further opportunities for the country's shooters to compete on the international stage.
Finally, ASC President Sheikh Salman expressed his sincere gratitude to the NOC of Turkmenistan for their warm hospitality and the exceptional arrangements made for the ASC delegation during the visit.
