ASC President Strengthens Ties with OCA, ISSF and NRAI During the Visit to the ISSF World Cup Finals R/P/S 2024 in New Delhi, India.

Following the invitations from the President of Olympic Council of Asia H.E. Raja Randhir Singh and the President of National Rifle Association of India H.E. Kalikesh Singh Deo, the President of Asian Shooting Confederation H.E. Sheikh Salman AlSabah visited New Delhi, India to attend the ISSF World Cup Finals - Rifle/Pistol/Shotgun from October 13 to 18, 2024.

During the visit, ASC President was hosted by H.E. Raja Randhir Singh, President of the Olympic Council of Asia (OCA), for an official dinner. Both leaders engaged in productive discussions related to the development of the Olympic Sports in Asia. ASC President and OCA President also discussed the inclusion of Team Events in Shooting Sport Program of the 20^th Asian Games 2026 in Aichi-Nagoya, Japan. ASC President expressed his gratitude to OCA President for the warm hospitality extended during the visit.

In addition, ASC President held a key meeting with the ISSF President H.E. Luciano Rossi. The discussions focused on further developing the Olympic Sport of shooting at the Continental level, and ASC President appreciated the efforts of ISSF and thanked the ISSF President for his ongoing support to Asian Olympic Shooting Sport.

Finally, ASC President also met with H.E. Kalikesh Narayan Singh Deo, President of the NRAI, to discuss the future of Olympic Shooting Sport in India. He expressed his sincere thanks to the NRAI President and its members for their warm hospitality and the invitation to witness the prestigious ISSF World Cup Final.

This visit marks another significant step towards strengthening the ties between shooting sport organizations and enhancing the sport across Asia.
