ASC President Congratulates Newly Elected Leaders of the Arab Shooting Federation

The General Assembly Meeting of the Arab Shooting Federation was held today, Saturday 09-Nov-2024 at Sheikh Sabah AlAhmad Olympic Shooting Complex in Kuwait, with esteemed officials from the Arab Shooting community in attendance.

The General Assembly was graced by the presence of the President of Asian Shooting Confederation, H.E. Sheikh Salman AlSabah, along with the ASC Vice President H.R.H. Prince Khaled bin Bandar AlSaud, and H.E. Hazem Hosny, President of African Shooting Federation.

During the General Assembly Meeting, H.E. Eng. Duaij AlOtaibi, President of Kuwait Shooting Federation, ASC Secretary General was unanimously re-elected as the new President of the Arab Shooting Federation, H.E. Hazem Hosny & H.E. Dr. Abdulazeem Alhafi as Vice Presidents and H.E. Obaid AlOsaimi as the Secretary General of Arab Shooting Federation.

In addition, Mr. Abdullah Salem Bin Yaqoob was awarded as an honorary member of Arab Shooting Federation. ASC President H.E. Sheikh Salman AlSabah presented him with a special souvenir in recognition of his contributions to the development of the Olympic Shooting Sport.

The election of the leaders highlights the shared commitment to raising the profile and development of the sport of Olympic shooting across the Arab region.

ASC President extended his heartfelt congratulations to H.E. Eng. Duaij AlOtaibi, H.E. Hazem Hosny, H.E. Dr. Abdulazeem Alhafi, H.E. Obaid AlOsaimi and all new elected board members of the Arab Shooting Federation expressing confidence in their vision and dedication to drive the Olympic shooting sport to new heights within the Arab community.
