The President of the Asian Shooting Confederation H.E. Sheikh Salman AlSabah attended the General Assembly Meeting of the International Shooting Sport Federation concluded on 30th November 2024 in Rome, Italy.
The ASC delegation included ASC Secretary General H.E. Eng. Duaij AlOtaibi and H.E. Obaid AlOsaimi, Chairperson of the ASC Planning and Development Committee.
ASC President expressed his heartfelt congratulations to the ISSF President H.E. Luciano Rossi, ISSF Secretary General H.E. Alessandro Nicotra di San Giacomo and the entire ISSF team on the successful organization of the General Assembly meeting.
ASC President also conveyed his sincere gratitude to the ISSF President for the warm hospitality extended to the ASC Delegation during their visit to Rome.
This General Assembly provided a valuable platform to all participating delegations for exchanging ideas, advancing collaboration, and addressing key issues.
On the sidelines of the ISSF General Assembly Meeting, ASC President got engaged in several productive meetings with the delegations of the Asian and International Shooting Sport community. These discussions focused on the development of Olympic Shooting Sport at both the Asian and international levels, aiming to strengthen collaborations and advance growth in the Olympic Shooting Sport.
The participation of ASC Delegation in the General Assembly reflects ASC's ongoing commitment to contributing to the global Shooting Sport community and enhancing its presence on the international stage.
