The Technical Meeting for the Asian Rifle/Pistol Cup 2025 was held at 11:30 AM today (11th February) at the SAT Shooting Range in Bangkok, Thailand. The meeting focused on crucial technical aspects related to the preparation and organization of the competition, ensuring a well-structured and fair competition for all participating athletes.
The meeting was attended by distinguished officials, including ASC President H.E. Sheikh Salman AlSabah, and H.E. Sakon Wannapong, President of the National Shooting Sport Association of Thailand (NSSAT) and Mrs. Sopittsara Tippayamonton, Secretary General of NSSAT and Ms. Intan Megafany the Technical Delegate for the Asian Rifle/Pistol Cup 2025, Competition Manager Mr. Vichit Chiewvej and Venue Manager Mr. Sripatyakorn Krittapam and Mr. Abdulla AlHammadi, Chairperson of the ASC Technical and Judges Committee. Additionally, jury members and team officials from various participating nations were present to discuss and align on competition standards.
During the Technical meeting, ASC President emphasized that the ASC is working harder to develop youth talent in shooting sports. He also announced the organization of a training camp in Kazakhstan this year, followed by another camp in Qatar in 2026, as part of their long-term vision to prepare athletes for the 2028 LA Games and achieve even greater success.
In closing, the ASC President extended his best wishes to all participating athletes, encouraging them to give their best in the competition and achieve remarkable results.
