The Asian Shooting Confederation pays tribute to the remarkable contributions made by the Honorary President H.E. KUO Chung-Hsing, who dedicated his life to the development of the Olympic shooting sport.
With a firm commitment spanning over 50 years, H.E. KUO played a fundamental role in promoting shooting sport in Chinese Taipei and across Asia. He overcame numerous challenges with determination, ensuring the steady growth of sport. His dedication earned him prestigious honors, including awards from the International Shooting Sport Federation, Asian Shooting Confederation, and various governmental organizations in Chinese Taipei. In 2018, he received the highest sports honor in Chinese Taipei “the Elite Award for Lifetime Achievement” from the Ministry of Education, recognizing his outstanding services to the sport.
H.E. KUO’s was deeply overwhelmed by his association with Asian Shooting Confederation. Since his election as ASC Vice President at the General Assembly in Beijing, 1991, he remained closely connected to the Confederation. His passion for uniting and strengthening the shooting sport community never faded. Even in his final days, he expressed gratitude for ASC President H.E. Sheikh Salman Al-Sabah’s leadership and support, considering his role within ASC a great honor.
His vision for a stronger and more successful Asian shooting sport community will continue to inspire future generations. ASC extends its deepest respects to his legacy, ensuring his contributions will always be remembered.
