CHN - PEOPLE'S REPUBLIC OF CHINA

Chinese Shooting Association is a non-profit, national incorporated society for shooting sport. It is
a corporate member of the All-China Sport Federation (ACSF) as well as recognized by the Chinese
Olympic Committee. It was founded on 1956, and Mr. LIANG CHUN serves as the incumbent
president of the Association.
It aims to promote the development of shooting sport in China, to guide the improvement of
techniques, and to strengthen close relations and cooperation with its counterparts across the world.
Since its establishment, it has been engaged in organizing workshop for coaches and judges to study
shooting techniques and training methods, to modify competition rules, and to evaluate coaches and
judges. The Association also assisted with various competitions hosted by the Sports Bureau of
China.
Chinese Shooting Association has sent shooting delegations for international competitions and
welcomed shooting teams from abroad visiting China all these years and thus consolidated its
friendly links with other associations.
